Winter Fruit Tree Pruning

Join me on this practical workshop to learn how to prune top fruit trees including apples, pears & plums.

Who is this for?

This 4 hour practical workshop is for novices to fruit tree pruning, and those who want to grow fruit in a small area, and learn how to control growth on top fruit varieties such as apples, pears and plums.

What will I learn?

During this work shop you will learn how to choose trees suitable for your garden. You will learn to manage fruit trees in small spaces and how to control tree growth.

During the workshop you will practice pruning apple and pear trees in our orchard.
You will also learn to identify some common pests and diseases and learn to control them naturally.

This will be outside so you will need to wear suitable clothing, footwear, and bring warm gardening gloves.

Private fruit tree pruning sessions

I offer a bespoke private fruit tree pruning workshop in your own orchard or fruit garden. This can be on a one to one basis or small group. You will need an indoor seating area where we cover theory and fruit trees which can be pruned from the ground, using an extendable pruning saw if necessary.

Community groups can also be accomodated.
